Our mission is to empower women and children affected by armed conflict in Kivu, in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), by delivering trauma and counseling support, enhancing food security, promoting education, and raising climate awareness.
Trauma and Counselling Support
We provide professional counseling and trauma healing programs to address the psychological and mental health challenges faced by women and children affected by conflict. In addition to long-term support, we respond to immediate needs by offering essentials such as hygiene kits, blankets, and emotional first aid to stabilize those in urgent distress. We strive to build a foundation of strength and recovery, helping those affected by conflict to rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.
Enhancing Food Security
By educating individuals on innovative techniques and providing resources for self-sufficiency, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and hunger. We supply emergency food provisions to families in crisis and address hunger by distributing protein-rich foods, offering agricultural training, and supplying seeds and tools for sustainable farming. Through local partnerships and community involvement, we strive for a future where every family has access to nutritious food and can ensure their well-being.
Raising Climate Change Awareness
We educate communities on sustainable practices and adaptation to climate challenges. To address immediate needs, we distribute survival items like clean water, emergency shelter kits, and warm clothing to families displaced by climate-related disasters. Our commitment extends beyond immediate relief, aiming to build resilient communities that can withstand environmental changes and reduce future crisis vulnerability. We empower individuals with the knowledge and resources to protect their environment and livelihoods.
Promoting Education
Our efforts focus on creating safe, inclusive learning spaces for children affected by conflict. To address immediate educational needs, we provide school supplies, uniforms, and temporary learning kits, ensuring children can continue their education even in crisis situations. Through partnerships with educators and local communities, we also offer teacher training programs to enhance instructional quality and nurture students. Our goal is to ensure accessible, equitable, and transformative education for all.
